Man seriously injured in Stamford bar attack

Police are appealing for witnesses

A man in his 30s was seriously injured after an alleged assault in a Stamford bar.

A group of five men entered Mama Liz’s Bar on North Street in Stamford at around 2am on Sunday, March 15. One of the group then assaulted the victim, who was left with a serious facial injury that is not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspects then left the scene.

Police published a witness appeal on March 30 asking for anyone who saw these men or witnessed the assault to contact them.

They also want anyone with dashcam footage of the area at around the time of the assault to get in touch.
