New business park planned for Saxilby

The plan could create around 19,000sqm of floorspace across 10 years

Plans for a new 20 acre business park in Saxilby have been submitted to West Lindsey District Council.

Stirlin Developments is looking for approval to develop the land off Saxilby Road, to create a site known as Enterprise West Lindsey.

It would sit near to three existing parks, and the applicants say the latest plans would “form a significant business cluster contributing towards driving the economic growth of Greater Lincoln”.

Documents before the council detail how the plan would be to create around 19,000sqm of floorspace across 10 years.

No details of the buildings have been revealed, however, the site would be split into around 16 parcels of land.

How the business park could be laid out.

Phasing of the development, said the documents, would be led by the market with occupation as a result of “design and build” sales supplemented by speculative development.

As part of the initial proposals a new estate road, along with water attenuation ponds and utility services would be installed on the site.

The developers have also offered to create a new footpath on the west of Saxilby Road from the railway crossing to the new entrance and to contribute £20,000 towards the cost of monitoring traffic.
