Owner of new Lincoln grill restaurant sizzling with excitement

Something new to try

The countdown has begun to the opening of a new Portuguese, American and English-inspired grill restaurant on Lincoln High Street.

Foodies can look forward to trying Peri-Peri dishes, gourmet burgers, ribs and vegetarian delights when Serafina Grill opens its kitchen on Tuesday, March 17 at 4pm.

Owner Rashal Hassan, who has 30 years of experience in the restaurant and fast food industry, has created new jobs and an additional takeaway service in the former Chinese food business premises.

He said he is passionate about healthy eating, fresh food and flavours from around the world.

“Having lived here for over three decades, Lincoln is very close to my heart and the ideal location in which to launch my business,” he said.

“I am creating a mix of eight part and full-time jobs and we are looking forward to offering people a range of healthy foods from our kitchen.

“We will be serving fresh food straight from the grill, and our menu is inspired by Portuguese, American and English cuisine.

“People will be able to order fresh food to deliver and collect and we also have 12 seats, so people can pop in and sit down to eat.” he added.

Rashal said that the Serafina Grill could be just the first of several restaurants. The grill is opening on Tuesday, March 17 at 4pm and trading to midnight from Tuesdays to Sundays.

But from April 1, Rashal is planning to serve breakfasts and also open from lunch to midnight.

Chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has leased premises on Lincoln’s lower High Street.

Banks Long & Co Surveyor James Lockwood said: “We are delighted to have leased premises in this part of Lincoln to Rashal and we wish him the very best for the future with his new enterprise.”
