Cyclist dies after crash with van near Alford

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses

A 50-year-old man has died after his pushbike was involved in a crash with a van near Alford.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police were called shortly after 11am on Monday, March 23 after the collision on the A1104 Snape Hill in Saleby. The road was closed and several diversions were put in place.

The cyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries and police confirmed on April 1 that he had sadly died.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the location at the time it happened.
