Developer submits 61-home Washingborough plan

A house on will be demolished and replaced with a new access road as part of the plans

Plans to build 61 homes in a Washingborough have been submitted to North Kesteven District Council.

The development, submitted by HIGHSS Homes, will also see a house on Canterbrury Drive demolished and replaced with a new access road.

In documents submitted to the council, the applicants said: “The application site is well located in relation to the existing built up area of Washingborough and comprises part of the housing allocation… in the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan.

Where the entrance to the site in Washingborough is planned to be.

“The submitted layout demonstrates how the site can be developed for 61 dwellings whilst maintaining high standards of design and preserving existing landscaping on the boundaries of the site.

“A number of specialist reports support the proposal and these demonstrate that there will be no detrimental impact arising from the development.”

The homes will be mainly two-storeys and will have two parking spaces each.

The development will include an area of open space in the north western corner.
