Emergency crews rush to motorbike crash in Lincoln city centre

A busy day on the roads for Lincolnshire Police

A lane of Carholme Road, near to the Brayford Way bridge, was closed this lunchtime after a motorcyclist came off their bike.

Police and ambulance crews were spotted at the scene attending a casualty, putting him a brace.

The crash happened just before 12 noon on Thursday, April 16.

No other vehicles were involved.

Eyewitness Timmy Baxter said: “One lane was closed. There was a man on the floor with a head brace on.”

Lincolnshire Police said the rider was treated for his injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening.

It was one of a number of collisions dealt with by police on Thursday.
