More than £80 million has been given to nearly 6,800 businesses across Lincolnshire to help support the local economy against the impact of the coronavirus lockdown.
Lincolnshire’s district councils have been given £192,109,000 by government to support local businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The money was part of a swathe of measures announced by government covering loans, small business grants and grants covering the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
Today, authorities revealed they had given at least £79,370,000 to 6,768 businesses.
South Holland had not responded at time of publication but had issued £2,460,000 to 231 businesses on April 3.

Here’s how much businesses have been given according to councils’ latest announcements:
East Lindsey District Council has given £14,900,000 to 1,209 businesses. The authority was given £62,172,000 by government and estimates there are 1,830 left to apply or be processed. For information visit https://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/CVBusinessGrants
Boston Borough Council has given £7,550,000 to 650 businesses. The authority was given £16,640,000 by government and estimates there are around 300 businesses left to process or be applied. For information visit https://www.mybostonuk.com/businessgrant/
North Kesteven District Council has given £12,400,000 to 1,123 businesses. The authority was given £22,310,000 and estimates there are around 700 businesses which still need to be processed or apply. For information visit www.n-kesteven.gov.uk or call 01529 414155
West Lindsey District Council has given £11,515,000 to 1,051 businesses. The authority was given £18,664 by government and estimates there are around 555 businesses left to apply or be processed. For information visit www.west-lindsey.gov.uk/businessgrants
South Kesteven District Council has given £19,055,000 to 1,613 businesses. The authority was given £31,687,000 and estimates there are around 831 businesses left to apply or be processed. For information visit www.investsk.co.uk/businessgrants
