A unique drive-in music festival and cinema experience will take place near Lincoln this summer, with social distancing measures in place.
Nightflix Drive-in Cinema from Colchester, which is run by Cinex event management, will be coming to Newark Showground from July 1 for what it describes as the UK’s first drive-in festival consisting of live tribute acts.
The 10 night drive-in music festival will feature tribute bands for Take That, ABBA and The Killers.
Tickets range from £30 to £40 per car and include entrance to your chosen tribute act, a light show and an individual parking slot – click here for more information.
As well as a festival atmosphere, there will also be street food takeaway offers available, to be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle.
This event will be followed by a regular drive-in cinema experience licensed to show new release films from July.

“The safety of our visitors and event crew is essential to us. We are putting procedures in place following government advice to make sure all our staff are wearing the correct PPE and that guests stay within their vehicles as much as possible.
