Kittens found dumped in bin on A180 lay-by

They were found by a council bin crew

Four kittens believed to be no more than 24-hours-old were found dumped in a bin along the A180 lay-by by a North East Lincolnshire Council bin crew.

The crew were alerted to the situation after hearing lots of loud squeaks and noises coming from one of the bins at around 10am on Thursday, May 28.

The kittens were found inside a plastic carrier bag inside one of the bins near to the A160 Killingholme turn-off.

The animals were collected by Cuddles Cats Rescue on Wilton Road in Grimsby shortly after being called by the bin crew.
