A teenager was allegedly assaulted as he walked through the door of a shop in Spalding.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating after a complaint was made that a 16-year-old male was assaulted as he was entering the Holbeach Stores and Petrol Station on Holbeach Drove Gate in Spalding just after 4pm on Wednesday, March 25.

Investigating officers are appealing to identify a man, who they believe has information that will help with their investigation. They have not specified whether the man is a suspect or a witness, but believe he may be local.

The force also said that the delay in publishing the appeal was due to other enquiries being completed.
