Three more Lincolnshire Burger Kings re-open next week

Find out where to get your Burger King fix

Three Lincolnshire Burger King restaurants will re-open next week as the fast food chain continues its phased lockdown return.

From June 8, the outlets at Grantham Trade Park on Harlaxton Road and the Service Area at A1 Gonerby Moor, will re-open for takeaway only.

The branch on the A46 at Thorpe on the Hill will also re-open the same week.

Burger King gradually re-opened several stores up and down the country for delivery and drive-thru.

The branches on Pilgrim Way in Wyberton, Boston and at Lakeside Retail Park in Scunthorpe opened their drive-thrus on May 18.  The Scunthorpe outlet is also now available for delivery.

As part of its phased re-opening plan the fast food chain aimed to open 40 restaurants per week from May 25.

The restaurant on Lower Spring Street in Grimsby opened on May 25. It is open for delivery and drive-thru only from 12pm-11pm. Customers will be able to place their orders via Deliveroo, Just Eat and at the drive-thru.

By the end of June, Burger King is working towards re-opening 68% of its restaurants – 350.

To enable its restaurants to continue to re-open a number of procedures have been put in place, including additional PPE such as masks and gloves for staff, stringent cleaning measures and contactless delivery options via Deliveroo and Just Eat.

For the outlets with a delivery-only service, customers will not be able to access the full Burger King menu. However, Burger King favourites including Chicken Royale, Bacon Double Cheeseburger and the Whopper will all be available to order.
