Nobody was injured after a large fire destroyed a factory in North Hykeham yesterday, with the cause still unknown.
The Lincolnite broke the story of the fire in North Hykeham, which ripped through the premises of Specialist Heat Exchangers on Freeman Road.
The fire was reported at 3.02pm on Tuesday, June 2, with a large smoke cloud visible from miles away.
Nine fire crews from across the county were called to the incident, closing all adjoining roads for 4-5 hours.

All roads have now been re-opened and people have been allowed to return to their homes in the surrounding area, police confirmed last night.

One crew from Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue remained in attendance overnight with an aerial ladder platform to continue to dampen and put out any hot points of the building.
Investigations are still ongoing as to what initially caused the fire.
