Ambucopter called for Lincoln baby in cardiac arrest

Baby was taken to Lincoln County Hospital

A baby was rushed to hospital after air ambulance was called when the child fell into cardiac arrest in Lincoln.

At around 3:20pm on Tuesday, the air ambulance landed at Yarborough playing fields on Riseholme Road after being called to a nearby address.

Doctors arrived and treated a baby in cardiac arrest with paramedics from the air ambulance.

Paramedics and doctors worked to stabilise the baby at the scene, before they were eventually taken to Lincoln County Hospital by a road ambulance.

East Midlands Ambulance Service took the baby to hospital with clinicians from the Ambucopter on board.
