Goat decapitated in Spalding

The owner found its head in a ditch

A goat has been slaughtered in Spalding after the owner found the animal’s head in a ditch.

The animal was killed at an address on Rangell Gate, Low Fulney, Spalding overnight between 9pm on Wednesday and 8:30am on Thursday.

The female goat’s head had been cut off and left in a ditch, while the body was taken.

Police are asking for anyone with information to contact officers by calling 101, quoting incident 83 of July 30.

Officers are still investigating the death of three sheep near Spalding, when a 4×4 ran them over.

One of the sheep was also set on fire in the attack, while up to 30 others were injured.
