Pedestrian seriously injured in Brigg hit and run

The injuries are potentially life threatening

A pedestrian suffered potentially life threatening injuries after a hit and run in Brigg on Sunday.

Police were called about a collision at Monument Roundabout by ambulance crews at 12.50am on July 5.

A 24-year-old man, whose family have requested is not identified, is being treated in hospital.

Police said the driver of the vehicle did not stop and they are now working to establish the circumstances of the crash.

Humberside Police are looking to to trace the driver of the vehicle.

The force is particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white van, which was seen driving towards Wrawby at around the time of the collision.
