Man with knife ‘demanded money’ during Cleethorpes burglary

A man allegedly went into an unnamed business in Cleethorpes with a knife and demanded money.

The burglary happened at a premises on Grimsby Road in Cleethorpes at around 2.50am on Monday, September 14, before the man ran away in the direction of Isaac’s Hill.

Police believe it was an isolated incident with no further threat to the wider community.

An appeal for witnesses was published on September 21 with photos of a man officers wish to speak to in connection with the burglary.

Humberside Police said: “Whilst we appreciate the man in the images has his face covered, we would ask anyone who may recognise the man, or has any information that could help with our enquiries to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log number 37 of September 14.”
