£20m development with Tesco and Costa divides Louth community

£20 million development plans have split Louth between those welcoming bigger names and others who fear it will harm independent shops.

The proposed Northfields Park will include a Tesco supermarket and a Costa coffee shop will occupy a site across the A16 from Fairfield Industrial Estate to the north of Louth. The site will host ten modern industrial units, with a third of them housing the retail giants.
