Solar power or powerless? Lincolnshire residents attack ‘unfair’ planning process

They say the process is ‘fundamentally flawed’

Lincolnshire residents feel they have been “unfairly treated” in the planning process of several proposed solar farms.

They say the timing, nature, and number of major applications in the county has given them serious concerns. The group ‘7,000 acres’, comprising local residents and campaigners, are opposed to the Gate Burton Energy Park, one of four large solar proposals currently under examination by the Planning Inspectorate.
