Lincolnshire’s search for a new business model which can save city pubs

Experts believe a new way of working is needed to save the British local

UK pub owners are being ‘starved of profits’ due to unsustainable business models, exacerbated by the challenging economic climate.

Publicans gathered in Lincoln on Friday for the Saving Britain’s Pubs conference, seeking innovative alternatives to working under the big business banner.

This gathering follows a series of notable pub closures over the past three years in Lincoln, including The Original Bierkeller, The Rogue Saint and The Curiosity Shop.
