Lincolnshire Police detective awaits outcome of misconduct hearing

Detective Superintendent Richard Myszczyszyn denies all the allegations

A Detective Superintendent from Lincolnshire Police is awaiting the verdict of his week-long misconduct hearing, following allegations of computer misuse and abuse of police powers to investigate a personal matter involving his wife.

The hearing, which began on Monday at the Lincolnshire Police HQ in Nettleham, saw Detective Superintendent Richard Myszczyszyn, 43, denying all allegations and defending himself against accusations of investigating a verbal and physical altercation between his wife and her ex-business partner.
