Strikes close Lincoln train station on final day of ticket office consultation

Rail passengers face further disruption as fresh train strikes begin and consultation ends on the closure of ticket offices.

ASLEF, the union representing train drivers, began strike action on Friday, September 1, with staff working at more than a dozen train companies walking out over a lack of communication from the government and rail bosses regarding pay terms for workers.
