Why a four-day working week won’t be coming to Lincolnshire

The idea of a four-day workweek is catching on nationally, but several Lincolnshire businesses and officials have questioned its viability.

It’s claimed that paying employees the same for less work can increase productivity and workplace morale, with 60 UK firms testing the approach last year.

Despite these possible benefits, the four-day workweek has yet to gain widespread acceptance amongst companies in the county.
