Meet all the winners: North Kesteven School celebrated dedication, success and progress for its students in PE and sport at their annual Sports Presentation Evening.
North Kesteven School celebrated dedication, success and progress for its students in PE and sport at their annual Sports Presentation Evening on July 16.
The awards ceremony was attended by local Paralympian Jade Etherington and CEO of Lincolnshire Sport, who also gave out awards to students at the school.
Mr Martin Connor, Headteacher at the school, said: “Our annual Sports Presentation Evening hosted by the PE Department is a wonderful opportunity for staff, students, parents and governors to recognise dedication, success and progress in this subject.
“As the Headteacher I am immensely proud of North Kesteven School students and all that they achieve both inside and out of the classroom. I would like to thank our guest speakers, our supportive parents and our PE staff for organising such an inspirational event.”
Mr Gary Walters, Head of PE, added: “It was fantastic to see our students acknowledged and rewarded for their hard work, commitment and attitude towards Physical Education and Sport.
“We have so many students that put in consistently high levels of effort and determination to succeed and improve and endeavour to motivate and lead others.
“We were especially proud that Jade Etherington, Britain’s most successful Winter Paralympian of all time and Janet Inman, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Sports, gave inspirational speeches and handed out prizes to our students.”
