What’s on: Lincoln Bonfire Night 2016

Remember remember the fifth of November. With Bonfire Night just around the corner, the team at The Lincolnite have come up with a list of amazing displays taking place in and around the city.

Here are just some of the highlights in and around Lincoln:

Lincolnshire Showground

When: November 4, gates open 5pm, fireworks start at 9.30pm
Where: Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln
Price: Adults – £10, Children – £6, Under threes free with an adult ticket

The Lincolnshire Fireworks Spectacular returns with two displays for one price, featuring one for children with no big bangs at 7.15pm and a main display – together with a giant funfair and lots to eat and drink.

The event will also host children’s entertainment, side shows and stalls.

There will also be free car parking.

Sturton by Stow

When: November 5, gates open 6pm, fireworks start at 7pm
Where: Recreation Ground, Sturton by Stow, Lincoln
Price: Adults – £4, Children under 14 – £2

The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm.

Cars can park in the car park at Sturton by Stow Primary School.

Lindum

When: November 6, gates open 5pm, fireworks start at 6.30pm
Where: Lindum Sports Association
Price: Adults – £5, Children under 16 – £4

The bar at the Lindum Sports Association will be open, selling a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks as well as tea and coffee. Food will also be served; hot pork rolls for £2.50 and hot dogs for £1.00.

Witham St Hughs

Where: Witham St Hughs Village Hall
Price: All tickets £5

The spectacular firework display will also see a BBQ with food and drink on sale.

Gainsborough

When: November 5, gates open at 6pm, fireworks start at 7pm
Where: Lea Park, Gainsborough
Price: Adults – £5, Children under 15 – £3

Once again The Rotary Club of Gainsborough will be putting on a spectacular display at their annual fireworks and bonfire at Lea Park.

There will be free car parking available in a secure area and refreshments served.

Skegness

When: November 5, gates open at 5.30pm,  fireworks start at 7.30pm
Where: Bateman’s Visitor Centre, Salem Bridge Brewery, Mill Lane, Wainfleet
Price: Adults – £6, Children under 12 – £3, Under fives FREE

At the event there will also be a hog roast, beer tent and laser show.

Boston

Where: Jakemans Stadium, York Street, Boston
Price: Adults – £6, Children under 16 – £4

Robbie Williams tribute act Kennie J will be on-stage before the grand fireworks display and the United Cheer Team will also be performing.

Woodhall Spa

Where: Bainland Country Park, Horncastle Road, Woodhall Spa
Price: Adults – £6, Children – £4

The event will have hot and cold drinks, including a licensed bar, hot food provided by Ribs n Bibs ‘Right on Q’.

There will also be a range of glow ware novelties available to purchase on the night and a pre-show outside disco.

Bourne

Where: Lawrance Park, Nr Bourne, Thurlby
Price: Suggested donation of £3 per person

Come along to Lawrence Park for a brilliant evening of bonfire and fireworks!

All proceeds go to the Lawrence Park Recreation Ground and Community Association..
