Man and child rescued from slavery in Grimsby
They were forced to work for a suspected drug dealer
A vulnerable man and child have been rescued from slavery in Grimsby, where they were forced to work on behalf of a suspected drug dealer.
Anthony McCosh, 24-years-old from Cheshire, appeared in court on September 13 charged with criminally exploiting a child and vulnerable adult.
McCosh was also charged with supplying heroin and cocaine, as well as possession of a stun gun.
The exploitation charges have been brought under the modern slavery act and relate to the child and vulnerable man being forced to work on his behalf.
He was remanded into custody before he will be sent to Grimsby Crown Court on October 14 for a further hearing.
