The development, which lies opposite the Lincolnshire Lakes project, would see two storey homes built with around 40 allocated for affordable housing.
200 homes, which would mostly be private market houses, would be built on the site with an entrance to the development on Scotter Road South.
A masterplan of how the 200 homes in Yaddlethorpe would look under resubmitted proposals.
A pedestrian, cyclist and emergency access point would be provided on Moorwell Road, according to the plans.
The developer said in its plans that the scheme would now “be safely and easily accessed” and “successfully integrate” with the area.
It added that the development would be “a desirable, safe and secure place to live and play”.
In July, councillors rejected previous plans submitted by the developers over traffic and road safety concerns.
Bottesford Town Council responded to the original proposals and described them as “unacceptable”.
Meanwhile, Councillor Len Foster, who lives in the area, told councillors at the time that he was “totally and absolutely opposed” to the development and raised concern over traffic.
Other councillors raised concern over the impact on local services such as doctors surgeries, wildlife, education and foul sewage.
The plan was voted down by the council’s planning committee.
North Lincolnshire Council will make a decision on the new plans at a later date.
