Man seriously injured after lorry and car collide in Lincolnshire village

The man was taken to hospital

A man has been seriously injured after a crash involving a lorry and a car in a village near Louth on Wednesday morning.

The collision between the lorry and Suzuki car, which was reported to police at 11.11am, happened at the Saltfleetby junction of the B1200 and Three Bridges Road.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The driver of the car, a man, received serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

“He was taken to hospital by land ambulances. The vehicles will be recovered shortly.”

It isn’t clear at the time of writing whether the road is fully blocked.
