Boston death not suspicious, police say

It has been passed on to the coroner

A police investigation and post mortem examination has revealed that the death of a man found at a property in Boston was not suspicious.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police attended the discovery of the body of a man in his 30s at a property in Pen Street, Boston, just before 11.20am on Sunday, February 9.

A scene guard was put in place as officers continued their investigations into what they described at the time as an unexplained death.

Lincolnshire Police released an update on Wednesday, February 12: “Following an extensive investigation and a post mortem examination, we can confirm this death is not being treated as suspicious. The matter has now been passed to the coroner.”
