The internationally renowned band Public Service Broadcasting will be headlining the 2Q festival this weekend.
As previously reported, 2Q festival will be returning to Lincoln for the second time after the success of last year’s festival which featured headliners Circa Waves and The Sherlocks.
This year’s festival, which will take place on Saturday 3 November, will feature headline acts Public Service Broadcasting and Little Comets.

Both Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets to the event have sold out but Tier 3 tickets are still available.
Tier 3 tickets are priced at £27.50 plus booking fee and student tickets are £20 plus booking fee. Tickets are available from the website here.

The Stokes brand has been around since 1892 and continues to be a popular family run business with three cafes all situated in Lincoln city centre. Their coffee is specially roasted at the Stokes roastery up at The Lawn cafe and their Tudor High Bridge cafe has stood over the River Witham since 1540 so you’re guaranteed to enjoy a little history with your brew.
Stokes afternoon tea for two is £21.95 and comes with an assortment of sandwiches, scones, cake and a pot of their famous Gold Medal tea. Open 8-5 Monday to Saturday and 11.30-4 on Sundays.
Bunty’s Tea Room

Head about halfway up Steep Hill on any given Saturday and you’re sure to find a queue of people waiting to get into Bunty’s Tea Room. Recently awarded the gold award by Lincolnshire Today for outstanding quality and service, Bunty’s is the very definition of quaint. Situated in a Grade 2 listed medieval building, their mis-matched crockery and tables adorned with old photographs will fill you with nostalgia, and their cake isn’t half bad either. Afternoon tea is £15 per person and for a truly private experience you can hire the entire tea room for two hours at £50. Open 8.30-4 Monday to Sunday. This family run business utilities the best of local Lincolnshire produce wherever it can and boasts a large selections of loose teas and coffees. Booking in advance in recommended, particularly at weekends, and afternoon tea is £12.50 per person. Open 9:30-5 Monday to Saturday and 9:30-4 on Sunday.

Pimento tea rooms offers afternoon tea with a twist as the menu only serves vegetarian or vegan options. Since re-opening in July 2018, the new Pimento tea rooms has been met with rave reviews about its new style and new menu. Unlike most tea rooms in Lincoln, Pimento offers a large selection of gluten free options including gluten free cheesecake. With a large selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten options on the menu, Pimento is perfect for those with more specific dietary requirements. Open 10-5 Monday to Sunday.

A stone’s throw away from the castle and cathedral, Grayz boast to offer a homely atmosphere serving freshly made sandwiches and cakes using local produce. All cakes are made on site and can also be pre-ordered to take home. Open from 10-5 Monday to Sunday.

For something a little different, why not try the independent coffee house Coffee Bobbins? It’s decor is inspired by vintage sewing, with treadle sewing machines serving as tables and a plethora of vintage sewing machines on display for you to nosy at whilst you sip your tea. Opened in 2017 by an Olympics seamstress who used to work for Adidas, the cafe is laced with sewing inspiration and is currently shortlisted for the Lincolnshire Pride ‘Afternoon Tea of the year.’ Open 10-4 Monday to Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday.
