A decision on plans for new homeless accommodation in Grimsby has been delayed until anti-social behaviour linked to existing accommodation is addressed.

The Hope Centre was opened by Harbour Place Trust five years ago. It currently offers 12-15 places in a temporary night shelter.

North Lincolnshire Council will use new powers to more heavily fine litter louts and fly-tippers.

The Department for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) yesterday passed delegated legislation to increase various Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs).
