A man has been arrested after the vehicle he was driving in was seen driving erratically along the A15 yesterday evening (Tuesday 25 April).

Officers were called at around 10.35pm to reports that a vehicle was travelling along the A15 towards Brigg on the wrong side of the road.

Officers stopped the vehicle where the driver is believed to have failed a road-side breath test and was subsequently arrested at the scene.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit, driving a vehicle dangerously and driving without insurance.

He has since been released on police bail whilst we continue with our enquiries.

Update 27 April

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference. He has been released under investigation.

The 13-year-old and 17-year-old boy have also been released under investigation while inquiries are ongoing.

We are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident and are still appealing for information that can assist with our investigation.

We have arrested two youths in relation to vehicle crime in Nettleham.

Just before 1.20am today (25 April), we received multiple reports of three people wearing balaclavas trying car doors. They were believed to have visited multiple addresses in the area.

Ten minutes later, an officer was deployed to the scene and quickly arrested two boys on suspicion of vehicle interference.

The 13-year-old and 17-year-old remain in police custody.
