Fresh look for Lincoln Wilkinson

Wilko revamp: The Wilkinson store in Lincoln City Square was reopened with fanfare after a revamp.

Family value chain Wilkinson unveiled a fresh new look for their Lincoln City Square store on Thursday, February 17.

The store features a refreshed logo, wider isles and tills on all floors.

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Geoff Kirby, cut the ribbon in front of the crowd gathered at the event (pictured below).

Two football players from Lincoln City FC joined the Mayor of Lincoln to open the revamped store, signing autographs for fans along the way.

Paul Green and Clarke Keltie displayed their football skills in front of 60 local schoolchildren (pictured above), who received free cookery items from the store.

Wilkinson opened its first store in 1930 and currently has 345 stores across the UK, stocking around 25,000 products.
