Top 10 stalls at Lincoln Christmas Market

Greatest stalls: Lincolnite reporter picks out ten of the best stalls for spending your money on.

With Lincoln’s Christmas Market in full swing, we couldn’t help but take a look around on the first night — plenty of stalls ranging from tasty treats to great stocking-fillers. Plus, there is plenty of entertainment to get you into the Christmas spirit.

To give shoppers a head start, The Lincolnite has complied the top ten market stalls selling the best gifts for Christmas.


Bubble Inc.

Located inside the castle courtyard, this stall sells bubble-themed toys suitable for children of all ages. The products they sell include bubble solution instruments of various shapes and sizes. The stall itself is pretty easy to find: just follow the masses of bubbles.


Susan’s Farmhouse Fudge

This stall houses a variety of flavours for fudge, ranging from banana to vanilla and in all sorts of different sizes. They also sell white and dark Belgian chocolate buttons. You can find it in the Cathedral quarter, or in the food court.


Medieval Scribes

Located near the fairground in the Bailgate, the Medieval Scribes will look up your family history and print off the evidence of it. An interesting and potentially surprising Christmas present.


Jackdaw

This stall located next to the Cathedral has a collection of lanterns of various shapes and sizes and a collection of ornaments and decorations which have a Moroccan theme to them.


Lincoln Christmas Market hat stall

Established in 1982, this funky stall in the Cathedral quarter sells a variety of Santa hats for those in the festive spirit and will even give a lift to those who are not.


Fairies and Friends

This stall is also located in the Bailgate and sells anything fairy-related. Products include fairy dress up items, ornaments and wands — great for adding a little magic to Christmas.


Moonland

The stall is located in the Westgate outdoor stalls, near the fairground. It sells a variety of gothic ornaments alongside a collection of decent-sized handbags, pictures and candles.


Pollyfilds

Want your house to smell more Christmassy? Located in the Westgate, this outdoor stall this stall sells a variety of Potpourri in various scents and sizes, some of which can be hung up. Follow your nose to find this one.


Jomanda

Another stall in the Wesgate area, but selling a variety of cuddly toy animals suitable for boys and girls. The toys include “classic” farmyard animals like sheep and cows. Hopefully, you have plenty of moo-ney with you if your children spot this stall.


Shorrocks Famous Bomb

Situated near the Cathedral, this stall sells any four cheeses for £15. They now also sell alcohol-flavoured cheese, known as the alcohol bomb, in the deal.
