Miss Lincolnshire returns to Lincoln

On the catwalk: Lincoln’s Miss Lincolnshire competition will be returning to the city this spring, looking for the potential next Miss England.

A club in Lincoln will host again the Miss Lincolnshire competition final, to find not only Miss Lincolnshire, but a potential contestant for Miss England.

The Miss Lincolnshire final, organised this year by Every Model Magazine, will take place at Tokyo Lincoln on April 20, starting at 7pm.

The winner of Miss Lincolnshire will then go on to national heats, in order to find the perfect ambassador for England. Miss England models go on to compete in Miss World competitions.

On the night, around 20 girls will take part in three heats of a competition, wearing three different styles of clothing.

The intention of the heats is to bring out each model’s character. Afterwards, each model will answer questions about themselves and the message they are trying to spread.

Many contestants are trying to raise awareness of a cause or charity, and the Miss England competitions support them in doing this.

The girls will be judged by a panel made up of experts in the industry, including a former Miss England contestant, the editor of Every Model Magazine, Ruth Deane, and a Lincoln representative.

Residents are invited to watch the final and support the local talent.

Residents aged between 17 and 24 are invited to sign up to take part in the Miss Lincolnshire competition.

The competition is based around the individual’s personality, so any height, size and style is welcome to apply.

To enquire about taking part, email [email protected], or contact the editor Ruth Deane on 07980 733241.
