Timelapse video shows five days of Lincolnshire Show action

Special insight: A timelapse video details how the Lincolnshire Show is set up and managed throughout the course of a week.

The 129th Lincolnshire Show has seen around 60,000 people flock to the two-day vent in June, but the Showground was a hive of activity before and after the event.

Epix Media based in Lincoln set up two cameras and different vantage points throughout the week to watch how the event unfolded.

The cameras recorded around 16 hours of footage, with a photo being taken every 30 to 60 seconds, every hour. The footage was then boiled down into a timelapse video of two and a half minutes.

The video details how much effortt goes into running the show before, during and after — the annual show takes around 365 days to plan and 240 hours to set up.

Will King, Videographer for Epix Media, said: “It’s been an incredible project to work on.

“Our cameras were shooting for eight days and collected over 25,000 images, which then became over 16 hours of footage, edited into just two and a half minutes.

“There’s lots going on in every frame and so I’m sure people will have fun watching it over and over spotting all the little details,” he added.
