Lincoln Christmas Market — Day 2

Powering on: More crowds visited the Lincoln Christmas Market for day two of festivities.

More visitors descended upon uphill Lincoln for day two of the annual Lincoln Christmas Market.

According to the City of Lincoln Council, 610 cars made use of the Park and Ride at the Showground on the first day on Thursday, with four minibuses booked.

Friday is set to have been an even busier day as the market gets in full swing.

Additionally, despite poor weather starting off and a power cut, there have been no calls to Lincolnshire Police and Fire and Rescue so far.

Shoppers could enjoy around 250 stalls spread across Castle Hill, Lincoln Castle, the Lawn complex, Bailgate and Westgate.

During the day, crowds were also treated to a flypast by RAF Scampton’s Red Arrows, returning home after a tour in the Middle East.
