Back in jail: A convicted killer from Lincoln who absconded from an open prison in Wales has been found by police.

A convicted killer from Lincoln who absconded from an open prison in Wales has been found by police.

South Wales Police arrested and returned to prison Christopher Woodward in the early hours of February 15.

Christopher Woodward (44), who is originally from Lincoln, absconded from HMP Prescoed on January 17.

He was serving a life sentence for killing his girlfriend Jo-ann Noble in Lincoln in August 1999.

The conviction was later reduced to manslaughter.
