A stretch of the A57 near Lincoln will close for seven nights next week while resurfacing takes place.
The A57 between Carholme Roundabout to Burton Waters will be closed off while Lincolnshire County Council revamps the road.
It is being resurfaced, particularly around Burton Waters, in order to extend its life for over 20 years.
The works are part of a county-wide £3.6m Department of Transport-funded programme that will be completed by next spring.
The closure will start on November 16 until 23, running between 7pm and 7am. The road will open up to be used as usual each morning for daytime hours.
A diversion will be in place during the closure, via the A46, A15, A1500 and A156.
