Christmas tree collection dates in Lincoln

Christmas clean-up: Lincoln residents clearing away their Christmas decorations for another year will be able to make use of free kerbside Christmas tree collections.

Lincoln residents clearing away their Christmas decorations for another year will be able to make use of free kerbside Christmas tree collections.

You can leave your real trees on the kerb during the usual bin collection day between January 12 and January 23.

People should leave trees next to their black bin, or purple sacks and must be left out by 7am but will be picked up separately to the bin collection.

The City of Lincoln Council are asking that trees are not left at the kerbside other than on refuse collection days during the two weeks.

Alternatively, people using the council’s garden waste service can chop up their tree and put it in their green bin. Green bin lids must still be secure.

Trees will be collected from areas LN1 through to LN6.
