Motorcyclist recovering after serious A158 Lincoln Bypass crash

Appeal for witnesses: Police are appealing for more information after a serious four vehicle collision on the A158 Lincoln Bypass.

The male motorcyclist injured in a four vehicle collision on the A158 Lincoln Bypass is in a stable condition, which injuries not thought to be serious or life threatening.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash involving three cars and a motorcycle at around 4.50pm on Tuesday, June 30 to come forward.

The vehicles involved are a black Honda motorcycle, a black Ford Fiesta, a blue Skoda Fabia and a black Volkswagen Polo.

The rider of the motorcycle was air lifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment.

The road was closed for around two and a half hours to allow paramedics and police to deal with the incident, it reopened about 7.35pm

The Investigating Officer, PC Thorp is asking to speak with anyone who saw any of the four vehicles travelling along the A158 from Bunkers Hill to the Nettleham Road roundabout At the time of the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information should call 101 and refer to incident 337 of June 30.
