Investigation continues: A man who was arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a petrol station in Saxilby has been released on police bail.

A man who was arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a petrol station in Saxilby has been released on police bail.

The robbery at Otters Bridge Filling Station on Gainsborough Road happened just after 7am on Thursday, August 13.

A man wearing a balaclava threatened a member of staff with a knife before stealing a large quantity of cash.

A 34-year-old man from the Gainsborough area was arrested on Monday, August 17.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed on the morning of Tuesday, August 18 that the man had been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The investigation continues into the incident.
