Victim identified: Lincolnshire Police have named the woman who died in an accident on the A15, with her family releasing a moving tribute.

The 47-year-old woman who died when her car collided with a heavy goods vehicle on the A15 near Lincoln has been named.

Nurse Michelle Beech died at the scene of the horrific crash around 300 metres south of the main entrance to the Lincolnshire Showground on Wednesday, January 13.

Michelle leaves behind husband Gary, her two sons Ashley, 25, and Callum, 22, and her two beloved Dachshunds, Stan and Olli.

Her family have released the following moving tribute to Michelle:

“Michelle is known to all her family and friends as a caring, loving person who always put others first ahead of her own needs. She had an infectious laugh and a warm smile and always seemed to brighten the day.

“As a career nurse she thrived on ensuring her patients got the best possible care and that transferred into her own family life too.

“Once the shock of her loss has passed, I am sure we will all be able to celebrate the fact that she left this world in a better state than when she entered it, even just in her own small way. She will be missed, but never forgotten.”
