Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a mini digger was stolen from the Sir Francis Hill Community Primary School in Lincoln.

It is believed the digger, a 1 Kabuto KX008, was stolen sometime between the hours of 5pm on April 1 and 8.20am on April 4 from inside the school premises on Bristol Drive.

As previously reported, the school is undergoing major expansion works to create additional classrooms and teaching space.

Anyone who saw anything suspiciously or has information related to the incident should contact 101 quoting incident 53 of April 4.

Alternatively, people can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
