Second Lincoln trampoline park plans have been revealed by a Lincoln businessman, with a £1 million investment and ‘bounce fit’ fun on the horizon.
Darren Crookes, who is managing director of Lincoln interiors and construction company APSS, is lodging a planning application for a 120-130 trampoline fun park off Whisby Road.
The facility in a unit previously occupied by Nexon Group on Pyke Road would be transformed into a 16,000 square foot business, under new brand Bounz House.
The new trampoline park would be located on Pyke Road.
Depending on approval by North Kesteven District Council planners in a few weeks, it’s hoped the trampoline park would be ready for an October open day.
Darren explained that £750,000 has been invested in the building, with an ambitious £300,000 vision to create the lively trampoline room and other facilities.
He said: “The facility will offer traditional trampolining fun, we’ll also host dodgeball, foam pits and high intensity fitness classes, as well as mums and toddlers sessions.
“For something different, and using our interior fit out expertise, we’ll also be creating a meeting facility with a twist, so groups and businesses can meet in a colourful space and even have a jump around afterwards.
“We’ll even be putting on 80s and 90s-themed disco nights aimed at adults.
“The facility can be used by schools and we’re looking forward to bringing the community together.”
