Organisers said: “If more than one of your tickets wins, you can zoom the flume yourself each time, or share the rides with your friends or family.”

Corporate packages are also available at a cost of £250, guaranteeing buyers five places as well as advertising and marketing opportunities.

The event returns for a second year after its successful first run down the length of Flaxengate in 2015.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, the event is run in partnership with Linkage Community Trust.

Money raised will to to the rotary club’s chosen charities. Linkage and LIVES will benefit from funds raised this year.

Partners hope to raise around £7,000 from the event.

Rotary Club President, Jo Owens, said: “The Lincoln Flume was a brilliant day – full of fun and laughter – and it was a huge team effort and we enjoyed working with Linkage so much that we want to do it again.”
