People from across the county turned out at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre on Monday, June 13 to debate the UK’s membership of the European Union.

An audience, divided equally by their voting intentions, were joined by a small group of undecided voters to hear from a panel of six politicians and business professionals.

Organised by The Lincolnite in partnership with BBC Radio Lincolnshire, the debate was streamed live online and broadcast on DAB radio.

Speakers Finbarr Dowling, David Prescott and Sue Liburd for the remain camp went head to head with Karl McCartney, Victoria Ayling and Peter Davis on the leave side.

The Lincolnite spoke with members of the audience after the event to hear their verdict.
