This story is over

Guy Martin practised with a specially made hydrofoil on the Brayford today in preparation for his world speed record attempt.

Guy will attempt to break the world speed record on Thursday, July 28 after trialling two hydrofoils on Brayford Pool.

One hydrofoil has been built by the University of Lincoln, while the other has been built by Mike Cooke from Aardvark Technologies with the propeller supplied by Rupert Wasey from Hercules Propellers.
