The new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Lincoln is ready to welcome its first diners, and The Lincolnite has visited for a special first look tour.

Food lovers have been chomping at the bit waiting for the opening of the celebrity chef’s restaurant on the city’s waterfront on Saturday, July 30.

Chefs have completed their training and The Electric bar has been refitted to meet the expectations of chef White’s branding.

The refocused restaurant will offer a mix of English and French classics, alongside a range of 28-day aged native breed steaks and be able to provide 100 covers.

Lincoln will be the fourth DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel to partner with Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, which is operated under franchise by Black and White Hospitality.

Richard Metcalfe, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, said: “We’re all very excited to finally open Lincoln’s very own Marco Pierre White Steakhouse this Saturday at the DoubleTree.

“The restaurant will most definitely bring a higher level of sophistication to the city’s dining scene – something that will hopefully encourage people from across the region to treat themselves to a bit of ‘affordable glamour’ as Marco calls it.

“For us at the DoubleTree, the new steakhouse simply adds yet another reason for people to visit. Once opened, not only will we have exquisite rooms and a chic, newly-refurbished Electric Bar for hotel guests and locals, but also a restaurant from one of the world’s top chefs.

“Marco Pierre White Steakhouse’s beautifully unique fifth floor location, paired with an intricately designed menu featuring mouth-watering dishes that can meet a variety of budgets, offers the perfect setting to celebrate any special occasion.”
