Leader of Lincolnshire County Council Councillor Martin Hill will be answering your questions on topics ranging from devolution to EU funding in a live video web chat.

Councillor Hill will be in The Lincolnite offices from around 1pm on Friday, September 2.

The interview will be live streamed to over 73,000 people for around half an hour on The Lincolnite’s Facebook page and shared on the sister publication page Lincolnshire Reporter.

Those watching live on Facebook will also have the opportunity to comment on the feed and put their questions directly to him.

Conservative Councillor Martin Hill has been leader of the county council since March 2005 and has been a councillor representing Folkingham Rural Division since 1993. He was awarded an OBE for services to Lincolnshire in 2008.

He was in the Brexit camp in the lead up to the EU Referendum and recently welcomed the proposal by the Local Boundary Commission for England to reduce the number of county councillors.

He has also been at the helm during a time when the council has faced massive central government cuts.
