A motorcyclist who was killed in a serious crash involving a car and another bike has been named by police.

Sixty three-year-old Nigel Usher from Farndon, Newark lost his life after the collision on Ingham Road in Stow at around 6pm on Wednesday, September 14.

Two motorcycles and a Vauxhall Astra were involved in the crash.

Nigel was airlifted to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

The driver of the car and the second biker were also taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

This was the second fatal accident involving a motorcyclist in Lincolnshire in as many days.

As previously reported, a man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a teenager riding a scooter was killed in a crash on the A1 near Barrowby.

The teenager was earlier named as Calum Jordan Dowers of Stapleton, Leicester.
